Illuminate
Solo exhibition | 09.28.24 - 10.04.2024
“Illuminate” was a black light gallery that took place from September 28th, 2024 to October 4th, 2024 in the Waldo Bates Student Gallery. I began working with fluorescent art due to my parents, who owned a collection of black light posters in the 90s that they then passed on to me. The vivid colors and atmosphere that black lights produce fascinated me, and I spent considerable time researching how to reproduce fluorescent effects. This was a culmination of my efforts.
Celebrate the Artist: 16th Michael V. Gmitter Exhibition
Scholarship exhibition | 03.19.25 - 3.30.2025
“Celebrate the Artist” honors Michael V. Gmitter, a jewelry and metals major at Edinboro University who passed away in 2006. The exhibition was established in honor of his memory, and to encourage senior art students Edinboro University to peruse their careers. I was incredibly grateful to be chosen as a finalist for the 2025 exhibition. My personal part of the exhibition was called “Head in the Stars,” and it displayed a range of my design work focused on celebrating my passions, loving myself and others, and fostering my inner child.
