My Body is Art

"My Body is Art" is a zine that was written, photographed, and hand bound by me. It is about the challenges that I have faced with body positivity.

For this project, the process was just as important as the final project. I completely painted my arms black and covered them with fluorescent brush strokes that would then glow in the black light. This enabled me to create vivid imagery to populate the zine. I also hand lettered an entire alphabet using fluorescent paint markers so I could have moments of emphasized typography throughout the work.
